Synopsis

"The Switch" is a story about Kassie (Jennifer Aniston) and Wally (Jason Bateman), who are best friends. Kassie, unlucky in love, decides to have a child through artificial insemination. Wally is not on board with this idea, but he struggles to admit his true feelings for Kassie.

At Kassie's artificial insemination party, Wally gets drunk and accidentally switches the sperm donor's sample with his own. Unaware of his actions due to intoxication, Wally wakes up to find out Kassie has moved away, feeling New York City is not a suitable place to raise a child.

Seven years later, Kassie returns with her son Sebastian, seeking to involve Roland (the sperm donor) more in their lives. Wally starts to notice the uncanny similarities between himself and Sebastian, leading to a realization of his true feelings for Kassie.
