Synopsis

Ray Quick est un expert en explosifs qui a travaillé pour la CIA aux côtés d'un homme nommé Ned Trent, qui est extrêmement dément. Lorsqu'ils se disputent, Ray devient un freelance qui vit en marge de la société.

Une femme nommée May Munro le contacte et lui demande de tuer les trois hommes qui ont tué sa famille il y a des années, et qui travaillent pour la famille criminelle Leon.

Ray le fait et après avoir tué le premier, les Leons doivent trouver celui qui l'a fait et il s'avère que Ned travaille maintenant pour eux et ils lui confient la tâche de trouver le poseur de bombes.

Les Leons le font travailler avec la police et il recherche le poseur de bombes. Pendant ce temps, Ray, tout en travaillant pour éliminer les autres, ne peut s'empêcher de suivre May partout où elle va.

Enfin, je déplore le manque d'originalité dans les thèmes musicaux utilisés. J'ai eu l'impression d'entendre des compositions génériques et prévisibles, qui n'apportaient pas de véritable valeur ajoutée à l'expérience cinématographique. En somme, la bande sonore de L'expert m'a laissé sur ma faim et n'a pas contribué à renforcer l'immersion dans l'univers du film.
