Sinossi
Questa è la storia di un giovane tenuto in prigione, che racconta la sua vita da abbandonato dal college che aveva incontrato e innamorato una bella ragazza di nome Nona mentre faceva l'autostop senza meta alla ricerca della tomba di suo padre. Viene quindi sedotto da Nona nell'omicidio di diversi spettatori innocenti. Da qualche parte vicino alla città immaginaria di Castle Rock di Stephen King, Nona attira il narratore in un cimitero e, quando pone la domanda ripetuta "Ami?" lo porta alla follia. Non è immediatamente chiaro se il narratore abbia incontrato o meno una forza soprannaturale, o se Nona sia un frutto di follia fino all'ultima svolta inaspettata.
